  3. Application World-View 3 is the first satellite launched with multi-payload systems and with two additional bands, the SWIR and CAVIS which can penetrate through clouds and smoke and also snow. It also captures very high resolution imagery and is ideal for specific feature extraction for example building footprints. Furthermore, it can also be used for land use and land cover mapping and change detection to name a few.
